Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Male Chef to join our fast‑paced restaurant team in Ajman. This is a critical role within our culinary operations responsible for ensuring the consistent quality, presentation, and safety of all food items prepared on‑site. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in kitchen management, a strong command of cooking techniques, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a key member of our kitchen brigade you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene, efficiency, and creativity in food preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare cook and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, storing, and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste and ensure availability.
  • Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, including assistants and line cooks, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen equipment and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and update menus focusing on cost‑efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all food items meet quality presentation and temperature standards before serving.
  • Respond promptly to operational demands during peak hours, maintaining efficiency and consistency.
  • Implement food safety practices and conduct regular checks on storage and preparation areas.
Requirements
  • 13 years of proven experience as a chef or kitchen assistant in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Proficiency in preparing a variety of cuisines with a strong focus on Indian and Pakistani dishes preferred.
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety hygiene standards and food handling regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high‑pressure fast‑paced environment for extended shifts (12 hours).
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to live on‑site and utilize provided food and accommodation.
  • Valid work visa sponsorship provided; must be eligible for employment in the UAE.
  • Nationality: Open to all, but Indian and Pakistani candidates are preferred.
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment.
