Job Description:

Logistics Engineer (Infrastructure)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to involve in managing the Construction Logistics related to major infrastructure project.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop overall plan and procedure for the execution of Construction logistics for the Project.
• Integrate the Construction activities of all packages within the Project without causing any interruption to the day to day activities on the Project.
• Organize meetings with all parties both internal and external stakeholders to identify the challenges and planning necessary mitigations
• Review contract of the Contractors and identify their obligations.
• Planning and implementing necessary security procedures for the project in conjunction with the responsible parties
• Interface with Contractors to identify the service connectivity and plan the works in such a way that the construction logistics is not impacted.
• Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process. Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers. Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.
• Prepare weekly monthly reports related to logistics.
• Attend Progress meetings with Client and Contractors

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Civil Engineering any relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 12 years of extensive construction experience is required, including at least 5 years supervising large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE including field engineering experience or a broad general engineering background with expertise in construction logistics.
• Professional registration may also be required.
• Potential to perform in a lead capacity.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.
