Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parker’s, Somewhere, Public, Soil, Shalwa and Kumo.

We are presently seeking to hire a highly qualified Logistics Coordinator, who ensures act as the conductor of the supply chain, ensuring that the flow of goods from suppliers to outlets is flawlessly synchronized. You turn complex movement data into actionable plans, serving as the vital link that keeps operations stocked, agile, and ready to deliver on the brand promise across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate the end-to-end movement of goods and raw materials, balancing inventory levels across multiple locations to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any shipping bottlenecks in real-time.
  • Manage the full documentation trail for all inbound and outbound shipments, including customs clearance, delivery notes, and regulatory permits for UAE and GCC logistics.
  • Track and analyze freight costs and delivery timelines, identifying opportunities to streamline routes and negotiate better rates to protect the bottom line.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Warehouse and Fleet teams to schedule intake windows and dispatch cycles that align with peak operational demands.
  • Maintain a high-accuracy logistics database, providing regular reports on lead times, shipping variances, and carrier performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively solve logistical challenges—from port delays to inventory discrepancies—ensuring that the supply chain remains resilient and responsive to market shifts.
