JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Control Tower Executive who will act as an extension to their customers, managing their end-to-end supply chain journey, and providing the needed visibility to our customers to ensure seamless service delivery. We are looking for someone who will have an eye for detail and maintaining high service standards whilst managing customer shipments across various geographies, and proactively resolving any operational challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsible for order creations and due follow ups with relevant stakeholders to execute them.
- Manage and monitor the end-to-end customer’s shipment cycle
- Coordinate with various stakeholders involved in shipment handling. This may include the Customer, Logistics Partners, Internal Stakeholders, etc.
- Monitor the changing needs of the service, liaising with customers and frontline, to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for service improvement and implementing them.
- Ability to work in day /night shifts.
- Maintaining a Customer Centric approach in Query/Issue Resolution.
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs) during daily operation and monitor customer KPIs.
- Identify deviations in process as compared to IOPs and share the same proactively with the customer & reporting head.
- Respond to all enquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain effective and proactive communication by having OR (Operational Review) with customers to identify gaps and/or enable seamless process flow.
- Work with the KCMs/ Commercial team to establish and strengthen customer relationships.
- Comply to specific customer SOP and monitor respective KPIs.
- Execute reports or other tasks assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
- Providing Accurate and timely Reports to Internal and External Stakeholders as part of the SOP and IOP.
- Assist in obtaining necessary documentation and approvals for inbound and outbound shipments
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience within 4PL / freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, tender evaluation criteria, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is Plus.
