Role Summary

You will own and refine Cobblestone’s global LNG supply‑demand model and turn it into actionable medium‑ and long‑term trade ideas for our Gas Trading desk.

Your analysis will directly inform our European gas strategies and drive commercial value across our trading franchise.

Key Responsibilities

• Own & Enhance Global LNG Model — Maintain our integrated global LNG balances, aligned with European gas systems
• Monitor Benchmarks & Spreads — Track JKM, TTF, Henry Hub and regional spreads; translate movements into market views
• Drive Data‑Pipeline & Dashboards — Lead enhancements to our Python / SQL pipelines and Tableau / Excel reporting tools
• Generate Trade Ideas — Develop and present medium‑ and long‑term LNG trading strategies to stakeholders

Desirable

• Prior experience with Tableau dashboard development
• Familiarity with Asian market dynamics (JKM, Chinese demand, fuel‑switching trends)
• Exposure to advanced scripting or automation (e.g., Python libraries, API integration)

Requirements

Must‑Have

• 3+ years of gas market analysis or similar energy‑sector role (trading house, consultancy, producer)
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or related field
• Strong LNG value‑chain knowledge (liquefaction, shipping, regasification)
• Advanced Excel modelling and intermediate Python & SQL skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication : distill complex analysis into clear recommendations
