Livestock Specialist

The Livestock Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the health and well-being of livestock in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an urgent position that requires someone with experience in the field and a biometric passport.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal husbandry and a deep understanding of livestock management techniques. They must also possess excellent communication skills, as they will be working closely with other livestock specialists, farmers, and veterinarians.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and well-being of all livestock, including cows, goats, sheep, and camels.
• Implement and maintain strict biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of diseases.
• Develop and implement feeding plans to ensure the appropriate nutrition for all animals.
• Oversee breeding programs to ensure the production of healthy offspring.
• Train and supervise farm workers on proper handling and care of livestock.
• Conduct regular health checks on animals and administer necessary treatments or vaccinations.
• Keep detailed records of animal health, breeding, feeding, and production.
