Learning Support Assistant 1:1 – Kings’ School Dubai Inclusion Team is seeking outstanding Learning Support Assistants 1:1 to join our excellent and highly successful department full time. This is a superb opportunity for an aspiring, imaginative and inspirational Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding, creative, innovative and supportive team.

Qualifications and requirements
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or high school certificate
  • Have in-depth knowledge of the KS1 and Foundation Stage Curriculum
  • Have an in-depth understanding of working with Key Stage One children who have Autism
  • Have appropriate training in strategies used to support autism and wellbeing in school
  • Show willingness to attend external training to support role and work closely with outside agencies
  • Have an in depth understanding of how to support social and emotional needs
  • Have the ability to develop excellent relationships with children
  • In depth knowledge of Read Write Inc
  • Have experience in running 1:1, play based intervention and the ability to adapt the curriculum to meet a child\'s individual needs
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of how to differentiate work to close academic gaps
  • In depth understanding of a range of academic interventions
