Job summary

A leading industrial company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Furnace Supervisor to oversee steelmaking operations. Responsibilities include managing the operation of electric arc and induction furnaces, optimizing process parameters, and enforcing safety standards. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Gulf region, and a diploma in engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience, with 2 years relevant experience.
• 1 year of GCC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of electric arc furnaces to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate production team to meet daily and monthly output targets.
• Control process parameters for metallurgical consistency.
• Enforce safety procedures and monitor compliance.
• Identify performance issues and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain performance data and production reports.

Skills

Strong knowledge of steel melting, refining, and casting operations

Familiarity with furnace refractory lining and electrode management

Understanding of industrial safety regulations

Ability to analyze furnace issues

ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills

Education

Diploma in Engineering or related field

Certificate in any related field
