This position is within our AI Research Center in TII.

Role Summary

The Lead Researcher will spearhead advanced AI research initiatives, driving innovation and contributing to the development of cutting‑edge technologies. This role involves leading research projects from conception to completion, mentoring junior researchers, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate theoretical advancements into practical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct original research in AI, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
• Oversee research projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for real‑world applications.
• Stay current with advancements in AI and integrate emerging technologies into research.
• Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to apply research findings.
• Present research outcomes through reports, presentations, and publications in top‑tier conferences.
• Guide and mentor junior researchers and on methodologies and project execution.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of research experience in AI or related domains.
• Proven track record of publishing in peer‑reviewed journals and conferences.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
