Key points

Provides support to the Project Quality Manager in delivering the project quality management system.

Reports to the Project Quality Manager and has a reporting line to the Quality Assurance Discipline Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assists with the Implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and contract requirements.
  • With direction supports with the implementation the project quality requirements in accordance with the PQP and contract
  • Supports with implement the audit program to monitor adherence and identify improvement to the PQMS to include supplier and subcontractor audits as required.
  • Monitor and report to the Project Quality Manager on the effectiveness of the PQMS.
  • Under direction uses knowledge and skills in identify deviations from project requirements and ensure that systems and procedures are established to avoid recurrence
  • Supports in the monitoring of the application and effectiveness of the PQMS
  • With support assist supplier and subcontractor quality plans and programs for any purchase orders / contracts placed as applicable.
  • Support with project quality inductions.
  • Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
  • May direct resources prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Depending on scope
  • Preparation of QA/QC inputs to the RFQs and POs
  • Managing the Quality input to pre-PO award bid review and clarification activities.
  • Managing the Quality input to Supplier documentation review activities.
  • Facilitate the completion of criticality ratings
  • Liaison with systems and fabrication quality manager and subcontractors quality
  • Review supplier and subcontractor quality plans and ITPs (as required)
Skills and experience
  • Minimum 10 years Quality Management experience within the oil and gas industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Must be proactive and possess good inter personnel skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in English and Arabic language
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelors in related field.
  • Professional Accreditation preferred
  • Successful completion of ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor training or transition course preferred
