Lead HSE Engineer

Penspen is urgently looking for Lead HSE Engineer for one of our Offshore PMC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Qualification Required

• The candidates should have Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE planning and execution across offshore sites, including artificial islands, platforms, and subsea systems.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and closed.
• Interface with client representatives, regulatory bodies, and EPC contractors to ensure alignment with project HSE goals.
• Mentor and supervise HSE officers and engineers, fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, NEBOSH).

Experience Required

• Minimum 20 to 25+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas, with 8+ years in offshore leadership roles.
• Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) and NEBOSH IGC or equivalent are mandatory.
• Proven track record in managing HSE for mega EPC projects, shutdowns, and brownfield upgrades.
• PMC experience will be preferred.
• Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in a similar role would be an added advantage.
