About the role

We are hiring for one of our major projects in Abu Dhabi, and looking for a Landscape Inspector with civil infrastructure experience to join the site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections in accordance with the ITP/ITR and Hand‑ing‑Over Programme and prepare reports accordingly.
• Observe, check and record work execution is in accordance with approved methods.
• Observe site safety procedures and actively monitor and report on contractor’s safety performance, raising non‑conformance reports when required.
• Inform Resident Engineer of any serious issues observed at the site, poor workmanship, safety related concerns and delays.
• Provide QAQC support to the project; monitor works against approved drawings, specifications and approved details from the mock‑up units.
• Actively monitor implementation of contractor’s quality procedures and raise non‑conformance reports when required.
• Initiate and maintain good working relationships with the contractors and subcontractors.
• Identify issues at site and follow up in accordance with the issues handling map.
• Contribute to reports as and when required.

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering or any relevant engineering discipline.
• Competence in landscaping works, inspections and basic skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure and civil design.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements related to the project.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control; minimum of in‑house training on the QMS.
• Knowledge of the use of basic computer programmes/database.
