Landscape Architect

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Architect to join our team! In this role you will get to work in a young and dynamic team for the delivery of creative public realm design of varying scales.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop unique and creative landscape design solutions for public realm developments across the Middle East.
• Undertake project related tasks professionally and independently as directed by senior team members.
• Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing internal resources efficiently when required to achieve results within defined timeframes.
• Responsible and accountable for allocated tasks.
• Perform other related tasks as directed.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• An understanding of the design aesthetic and technical components of landscape architecture.
• An understanding of production techniques, procedures, and standards.
• An understanding of industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
• An understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
• Demonstrate a team oriented and collaborative approach to Landscape Architecture within the design team.
• Technical skills and efficiencies in both standard and specialist computer programs such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe Create Suite, Land FX, and MS office suite programs
• 4+ Years of continuous employment within the profession of Landscape Architecture.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written. Proficiency in other languages, especially Arabic, is highly regarded.

• Possess a strong commitment to quality control for design and technical issues.
• Possess strong communication skills with both internal and external parties.
• A willingness to develop and further landscape architecture skills and techniques for the enhancement and efficiency of the team.

• Educational Degree: Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or any relevant Degree.
• Languages: Fluency in English, verbal and written. Proficiency in other languages, especially Arabic, is highly regarded.
• Professional Certification: Working towards CMLI / ASLA / ALIA
