  • Experience with Basque or Spanish cuisine preferred.
  • Collaborative approach alongside the Sous Chef.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain food quality control, appropriate and timely food rotation, and deliver service and quality of food of the highest standard to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
  • Eliminate food spoilage, contamination and waste.
  • Prepare, cook and present food adhering to food safety standards while learning new and exciting skills.
  • Stay up to date with the latest culinary trends, be creative and skilled in the art of cookery.
  • Live our values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity each day, bringing them to life and continuing to create our legacy.
  • Coordinate with the Sous Chef / Executive Sous Chef on menu changes, specials, food shortages and the development of seasonal food and beverage activities.

  • Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or fine dining environment.
  • Collaborative approach to working alongside the Sous Chef in the development and execution of new menu ideas.
  • Experience with Basque or Spanish cuisine preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to control costs and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service ethic.
  • English as the primary language used in our hotel; comfortable communication required.
  • Additional languages such as Spanish are an advantage.
