Overview
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, prepare budgets, ensure compliance, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports
- Reconcile accounts and manage invoice processing
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and transparency
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial record management, budgeting, and auditing
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and financial reporting
- Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and compliance
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in the cleaning services or facilities management industry is a plus
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 3,500 – 6,500 (based on experience)
Visa provided with full processing support
Only Immediate joiners are needed
Minimum 1 year of UAE experience is needed
Skills & Tools
- Technical Accounting Skills
- Preparing and posting journal entries accurately.
- Handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Performing bank and account reconciliations.
- Knowledge of basic financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Assist with monthly/quarterly/year-end closing.
- Understanding of general ledger maintenance.
- Supporting audit preparation and compliance requirements.
- Basic knowledge of tax filing, VAT, and regulatory reporting (especially in UAE/GCC if applicable).
Software & Tools
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle).
- Data entry accuracy with ERP systems.
Analytical & Problem-Solving
- Identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting errors.
- Ability to analyze expense and revenue trends.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting tasks with data.
Organizational & Process Skills
- Maintaining proper filing and documentation.
- Handling multiple deadlines (especially during month-end).
- Coordinating with banks, vendors, and internal teams.
