The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and have 1–3 years of relevant experience, particularly with ZOHO Books.

Qualifications

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team and support the smooth financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day accounting operations using ZOHO Books .

Record, reconcile, and maintain financial transactions (payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, petty cash, etc.).

Prepare and maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, monthly / quarterly / annual reports.

Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time.

Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.

Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE regulations.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Collaborate with the Finance Manager on ad hoc financial projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Mandatory experience with ZOHO Books (minimum 1–2 years).
  • 1–3 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
