Key Responsibilities

• We are looking for a skilled and experienced hardware troubleshooting expert specializing in laptops and MacBooks.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for securely formatting wiping and preparing IT assets for disposal while ensuring compliance with data security policies.
• Perform secure data wiping formatting and degaussing of laptops Surface Pro devices and MacBooks.
• Ensure compliance with data security and follow the organizational asset disposal process.
• Document and maintain accurate records of all processed devices including asset tags and device details S/N etc.
• Troubleshoot device related issues during the sanitization process.
• Coordinate with IT Asset Management and Desktop Support teams for tracking and handover of disposed assets.
• Follow company approved tools and methods (e.g. BitLocker FileVault third-party wiping utilities).
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace while handling devices.
• Provide periodic status updates and reports on disposal activities.
