mselect is looking to hire an IT Manager for an Aerospace & Defence manufacturing client in Abu Dhabi UAE. Candidates must have at least 710 years experience in ERP system migrations especially SAP or similar enterprise systems. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Purpose

We are looking to hire a qualified experienced and dedicated IT Engineer who is an expert in ERP system migration, IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity and firewall management. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for the seamless migration of our existing ERP system to a new one and oversee various other critical IT functions, ensuring the integrity, security and efficiency of the company’s IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking and other IT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• End-User Support: Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of all IT systems.
• SAP Migration: Lead the migration of the current ERP system (SAP) to a new ERP platform, including planning, data migration, system configuration and post‑migration testing.
• IP Phone Management: Manage and maintain IP phone systems, ensuring proper installation, configuration and ongoing support for communication systems.
• Printer Management: Oversee the management of printers, ensuring functionality and resolving any issues related to print infrastructure.
• Information Security Management (InfoSec): Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, antivirus systems, encryption and access controls to ensure organizational data protection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven 710 years experience in ERP system migrations, especially SAP or similar enterprise systems.
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management, including server, storage and networking.
• Hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, firewall management and information security protocols.
• Experience with IP phone systems, MDM, CCTV systems and access control.
• Solid understanding of IT asset management and maintaining accurate records of IT hardware and software.
• Proficiency in managing end‑user support and troubleshooting a variety of IT issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant IT management tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
