Summary

This new role offers functional expertise across supply chain, finance, HR, and warehouse teams using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The Finance Specialist will support, implement, and maintain ERP systems to streamline business processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial requirements and implement them within D365 F&O.
  • Manage and configure financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cash & Bank Management.
  • Support financial period-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in D365 F&O.
  • Work closely with IT and ERP consultants to resolve system issues and enhance financial workflows.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports using Power BI or other integrated reporting tools.
  • Provide user training and support to finance and accounting staff on D365 F&O functionalities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies within the ERP.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and testing from a finance perspective.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in finance operations using D365 F&O capabilities.
  • Participate in projects to gather information requirements and assess project tasks.
  • Review system utilization to ensure business owners maximize its potential.
  • Recommend process improvements and code optimizations for existing systems implemented by third-party consultants.
  • Provide excellent support to all team members.
  • Collaborate with operational and ERP teams to develop comprehensive reports using Power BI and external data sources.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of ERP experience specifically in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of MS D365 F&O architecture, mechanics, and setup.
  • Functional exposure to Finance and Supply Chain modules.
  • Understanding of B2C and B2B order management processes.
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability.
  • Business political maturity.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication, analytical, and creative skills.
  • Finance business acumen is essential.
