Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager. The role requires 8–10 years of experience in inventory & logistics, particularly within the foodstuff sector. The successful candidate will manage multi-temperature storage, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related fields. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems are essential for this position. The salary offered is 10k AED per month.

Role - Inventory Manager (foodstuff/FMCG sector)

Salary - 10k AED

Location - Dubai

1. Experience & Background

• 8–10 years of experience in inventory & Logistics, preferably in the foodstuff/FMCG sector.
• Experience in managing multi-temperature storage (Ambient, Chiller, Frozen).
• Prior experience in FIFO/FEFO, batch and expiry management is a must.

2. Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certifications in Inventory Control, WMS systems are advantageous.

3. Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of inventory control processes, stock accuracy, and reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
• Ability to conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and root cause analysis.

4. Food Safety & Compliance

• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and municipality regulations in UAE.
• Experience handling expiry-sensitive stock and complying with cold chain standards.

5. Analytical & Operational Skills

• Strong analytical skills in inventory forecasting, shrinkage control, and space utilization.
• Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• KPI monitoring – stock turnover, order accuracy, wastage control, etc.

6. Soft Skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and coordination with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.
• Strong team leadership and time management skills.
