Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Internal Auditor for a Dubai-based enterprise in the retail industry. The role involves evaluating store operations, performing audits, and ensuring compliance across retail outlets. Candidates should have 5-6 years of internal audit experience and a degree in accounting or finance. Strong inventory management and understanding of retail controls are necessary. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary up to 15K AED depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • At least 5–6 years of Internal Audit experience in the retail industry is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of store operations, inventory management, and retail controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree (CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA preferred but not mandatory).

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate store operations, identify risks, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance.
  • Perform surprise audits, inventory counts, cash checks, and stock verification.
  • Document audit findings, root causes, and risk implications.
  • Review store-level processes including billing, discounts, cash handling, etc.

  • Responsible for evaluating store operations, identifying risks, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance across all retail outlets and functions
  • Perform surprise audits, inventory counts, cash checks, and stock verification
  • Document audit findings, root causes, and risk implications
  • Review store‑level processes including billing, discounts, cash handling, stock movement, refunds, vendor returns, and promotions
Qualifications
  • Preferably 40 years old and below
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA are preferred but not mandatory)
  • At least 5–6 years of Internal Audit experience in the retail industry is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of store operations, inventory management, and retail controls
