Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer/Technician to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and debug control logic programs for instrumentation and control systems
  • Install, calibrate, test, and commission field instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic, PLC, DCS, SCADA, and pneumatic control system instruments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems into larger designs
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including as-built drawings and reports
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field
  • Proven technical skills in troubleshooting industrial control systems
  • Strong knowledge of control systems, including transmitters, valves, PLCs, and SCADA systems
  • Proficiency in using electrical design software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or similar sector
  • Knowledge of safety standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Experience with Johnson Controls METASYS or similar products
  • Valid UAE driving license
