Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector Wet/Utility/Water to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of wet utility systems and water infrastructure to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.

  1. Perform comprehensive inspections of water distribution systems, sewage systems, and stormwater management infrastructure.
  2. Conduct field investigations and collect data on water quality, pressure, and flow rates.
  3. Identify and document deficiencies, potential hazards, or non-compliance issues in wet utility systems.
  4. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of findings.
  5. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address issues and implement corrective actions.
  6. Ensure compliance with local and international water quality standards and regulations.
  7. Utilize specialized inspection equipment and techniques to assess the condition of water infrastructure.
  8. Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on wet utility and water-related matters.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the water sector.

Qualifications:

  • High school/Technical Institute Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in wet utility or water infrastructure inspection.
  • In-depth knowledge of wet utility systems, water distribution networks, and stormwater management.
  • Proficiency in inspection techniques and the use of specialized equipment.
  • Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the water sector.
  • Familiarity with local water quality standards and regulations in the UAE.
