Overview

Stantec is looking to hire an Inspector - MECA for a Water Infrastructure Projects in Dubai. The Inspector- MECA must have full and complete knowledge of the existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities implied by the role include inspection and supervision related to MECA standards, maintenance of site records, and ensuring compliance with infrastructure services. The candidate should be proficient in survey work with modern instruments and in keeping site measurement records, and in dealing with existing infrastructure services. A focus on identifying non-conforming works, generating reports and corrective actions, and coordinating responses is expected.

Qualifications

• The Inspector must have relevant technical qualification and must have not less than 7 years experience in the construction and supervision of infrastructure works. He must also have full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in the emirates of Dubai. He must be well experienced in the survey work with modern instruments and in keeping site measurement records. He must have full knowledge and experience in dealing with existing infrastructure services.
• Solid experience in maintaining relevant records and generating activity reports.
• Experience in identifying non-conforming works, generating reports and corrective actions and coordinating responses.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
