Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Civil (Landscape Work) to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting landscape construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications quality standards and local regulations.

  • Conduct on-site inspections of landscape construction projects including hardscapes softscapes and irrigation systems
  • Review and interpret landscape design plans technical drawings and specifications
  • Verify that construction materials and methods meet project requirements and industry standards
  • Perform soil tests and assess drainage systems to ensure proper installation and functionality
  • Identify and report any deviations from approved plans or potential issues that may affect project quality or safety
  • Collaborate with contractors landscape architects and project managers to resolve technical issues and ensure project success
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of project progress
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes environmental regulations and safety standards
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as needed
  • Stay updated on industry best practices new technologies and relevant regulations in the field of landscape construction
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices particularly in relation to landscape construction
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
  • Expertise in landscape construction techniques materials soil mechanics and drainage systems
  • High school/ Technical Institute Diploma / Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering field.
  • Earthwork preparation ( cutting filling & embankment ) & tests
  • Steel installations & inspection
  • Concrete activities & tests
