Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Infrastructure Inspector specializing in Dry Utilities to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality safety and compliance of dry utility infrastructure projects throughout the emirate.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of dry utility systems including electricity telecommunications and gas infrastructure
  • Analyze and evaluate the condition of existing infrastructure and new installations
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports highlighting any issues or areas of concern
  • Ensure compliance with local and international standards as well as UAE construction regulations
  • Collaborate with project managers contractors and other stakeholders to address and resolve infrastructure-related issues
  • Utilize specialized inspection equipment and data collection tools to gather and analyze information
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to verify proper installation and maintenance of dry utility systems
  • Participate in project planning and coordination meetings to provide expert input on infrastructure requirements
  • Stay updated on industry best practices emerging technologies and regulatory changes in the field of dry utility infrastructure
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure inspection particularly in dry utilities
  • In-depth knowledge of dry utility systems including electricity telecommunications and gas infrastructure
  • Proficiency in various inspection techniques and equipment
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to utility infrastructure
  • Excellent technical writing skills for preparing comprehensive inspection reports
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools
  • Experience with project management and coordination
  • Relevant certifications in infrastructure inspection or utility systems (e.g. NACE API) preferred
  • Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
  • Willingness to work in diverse field conditions and travel within the emirate as required
