Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Alignment
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business processes, priorities, and challenges.
- Translate business needs into IT requirements and ensure alignment with the overall IT strategy.
- Participate in the development of IT strategic plans and roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities for IT to support business growth and innovation.
Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and assigned business units.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with business stakeholders.
- Advocate for the business within IT and ensure IT priorities reflect business needs.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communications between IT and business units.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by business units promptly.
Solution Delivery and Support
- Partner with business and IT teams to identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of IT projects and services that meet business requirements.
- Monitor and manage the performance of IT services and address any issues or concerns.
- Coordinate with project managers and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Provide oversight and support during the implementation and deployment of IT solutions.
Change Management and Communication
- Lead change management efforts related to IT initiatives within business units.
- Communicate IT strategies, priorities, and initiatives to business stakeholders.
- Facilitate training and support for new IT systems and processes.
- Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies.
- Create and distribute communication materials to keep stakeholders informed about IT initiatives.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve business processes and outcomes.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organisation.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform IT strategy.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster an environment that encourages creative thinking and problem-solving.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or business roles with a strong focus on relationship management and strategic planning.
- Proven track record of working with senior business leaders and delivering technology solutions that drive business value.
- Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can enable business transformation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and other relevant frameworks and methodologies.
