Job summary

A leading energy company in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HSE Specialist to ensure safety and compliance at HVDC project sites. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of HSE experience within electrical commissioning projects and a strong background in the Middle East. Responsibilities include conducting audits, promoting safety culture, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. This role requires a relevant degree and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE for electrical commissioning projects, power plants, or construction sites.
• Experience in the Middle East is required.
• Knowledge of MS Office and Intelex IMS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Site HSE Specialist for HVDC project sites.
• Support and implement HSE programs and initiatives.
• Drive behavioral change towards a strong safety culture.
• Engage in incident investigations and ensure compliance.
• Conduct routine and non-routine HSE audits.
