Job summary

A leading engineering company in Dubai is seeking an HVAC Draftsman with over 5 years of experience in drafting within the GCC. You will prepare HVAC layout drawings and coordinate with engineers to ensure accuracy. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and knowledge of Revit is advantageous. The ideal candidate must be locally available and ready to join immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman.
• Proven drafting experience within the GCC, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including ducting and ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed HVAC layout drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers for accurate designs.
• Conduct site visits for drawing updates if required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed HVAC layout drawings, schematics and shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and other MEP disciplines to ensure accurate and clash-free designs.
• Interpret design specifications and translate them into practical HVAC system layouts.
• Review and modify drawings based on site conditions or engineer feedback.
• Ensure drawings adhere to relevant codes, standards and project requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.
• Conduct site visits if required for drawing coordination and updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman.
• Proven drafting experience within the GCC, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/shop drawings; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including ducting, chilled water systems, ventilation and insulation detailing.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
