Description

Job Purpose

Assist in general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management. Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel, also take immediate action to correct safety rule

Key Accountabilities

• Execute HSE programs for the company projects and minimize company safety losses.
• Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions.
• Drive behaviors preventing illnesses in workplace by engaging all employee’s commitment.
• Interpret legal requirements and standards.
• Deploy HSE Controls for work related risks.
• Investigate incidents, determine root cause and develop corrective actions.
• Support HSE inspections, audits and self-assessments.
• Manage reports and present summaries to Regional HSE director with suggested solutions.
• Execute environmental management processes such as waste management and pollution prevention.
• Handle industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding and other health and safety programs.
• Handle HSE assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk profile.
• Administer SHE policies and develop uniform safety practices as per long term company HSE objectives.

Qualifications

Qualification & Education :

Education : A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Science, or Safety).

Required the below essential certificates : -

NEBOSH IGC

ISO 45001 and 14001

Years of Experience : From 7 to 10 Years of experience with the required scope as mentioned below : -

TAQA approved HSE Engineer

UAE HSE Experience

Power substation and overhead transmission lines experience

Language : English.

Computer Skills : MS office.
