Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives in line with UAE laws and international regulations (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001).
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Lead HSE induction programs, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety awareness initiatives for all site personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all project sites.
• Monitor and maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and reports.
• Promote safe work practices and foster a zero‑incident culture across the organization.
• Manage emergency preparedness drills and ensure compliance with emergency response plans.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations including waste management and sustainability practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE role within the construction industry.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001).
• Proven experience in risk assessments, safety inspections, and accident investigations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to train and engage multicultural teams.
• Willingness to work onsite across various project locations in the UAE.
• Open to candidates worldwide (relocation support provided for exceptional candidates).
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
