Job summary

A multinational lifestyle hospitality group in Dubai is seeking an HR Officer to support HR operations at a daylife venue. The role involves managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law, maintaining accuracy in HR systems, and supporting employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR, at least 3 years of experience in luxury hospitality, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Works under close supervision from the HR Manager assisting her in all duties and responsibilities.
  • Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of HRIS data
  • Assist in the investigation of any incident by saving supporting evidence.
  • Attends to employee general requests and inquiries about their employment issues.
  • Prepare the monthly HR report.
  • Handle attendance, leave management, and monthly payroll inputs
  • Follow up with the head of departments on performance appraisal and ensuring implementation on timely manner.
  • Assist in scheduling staff for approved development training courses in house or externally and assist in scheduling new hires for orientation sessions.
  • Checking monthly attendance, investigate and understand causes for staff absences.
  • Sending reports concerning attendance such as late entry, early departure, discrepancy with duty roster to concerned department head.
  • Inform head of departments of unexpected absences from work and coordinate actions.
  • Assist staff with attendance related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies on the system.
  • Support training, engagement, and HR-related initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies
  • Provide operational HR support to the venue team
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, ideally within luxury hospitality/F&B
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can thrive in a highly fast paced operation and must have good stakeholder-management skill
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be familiar with UAE Labor Law
