Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is a fast‑growing investor, lead developer, and operator of utility and infrastructure projects in various geographical markets such as KSA, GCC, Asia & North Africa. The company has investments in 6 GW of conventional and solar power plants and around 700,000 m³/day of water.

AEW was established in 2007 as a subsidiary of Al Jomaih Holding Company, a leading Saudi conglomerate with a legacy spanning over 80 years. Its mission is to tackle new technologies, solve complex problems, and leverage its expertise to unlock opportunities in the Power, Renewables & Water sectors while driving impact for stakeholders across the value chain.

This greenfield 2,400 MW CCGT project will be constructed with ancillary equipment, associated infrastructure and facilities. The plant will be located inland approximately 50 km north‑east of the city of Abu Dhabi, with the site about 40 km from Abu Dhabi city.

Duration: approximately 30 months.

Overview

The HR, Admin & PRO role is a key position responsible for overseeing human resources, administrative functions, and public relations activities. The successful candidate will manage HR processes, streamline administrative functions, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)
  • Human Resources Management: Manage the onboarding process; implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with local labour laws; coordinate training and development programs; administer performance appraisal processes; contribute to employee career development.
  • Administration: Oversee day‑to‑day administrative operations including office maintenance and facilities management; coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics for employees; manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory; handle general correspondence and communication.
  • Public Relations (PRO): Act as the company’s liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies; manage visa processing, work permits, and other legal requirements for employees; build and maintain positive relationships with government entities; responsible for licensing and permits required for the project.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture; address employee queries and concerns; mediate and resolve conflicts to promote a harmonious workplace.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies; stay updated on changes in labour laws and advise management on necessary adjustments; prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, Administration, and PRO roles in the UAE.
  • In‑depth knowledge of local labour laws and regulations.
  • Experience on projects within the energy industry is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
