Job Description - Housekeeping Attendant (HOT0BVYO)

DoubleTree by Hilton Fujairah City Fujairah Business Centre, Al Maktoum Rd Fujairah

Responsibilities
  • Support all Housekeeping and Laundry with guest requests, analyzing each request and delegating between the team members so that work can be done in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.
  • Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identified by the hotel brand standards.
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry team members, with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Assist with availability and release of rooms for guest service along with Floor Housekeeping supervision.
  • Manage controls of the Housekeeping department (e.g., frequency of employees, release of master keys, logging incidents, input/output of uniforms and linen, among others).
  • Check daily guest information in the CRM and ensure that the preferences and requests are met on time.
  • Coordinate special occasions (e.g., marriage, death, maternity) for flowers or embroidery on special linen (wedding and pampering).
  • Maintain monthly Lost and Found records and donations.
  • Inspect uniforms and arrange cleaning and/or repairs as needed.
  • Coordinate and control all traffic of documents and people within the department; release linen from Laundry daily.
  • Process daily guest clothing releases for guests using the laundry service.
  • Close Laundry expenses monthly and provide reports.
  • Replace a Laundry Attendant in case of holidays, days off or absences.
