Job Description

  1. Receive assignment sheets from the Housekeeping office.
  2. Note all guest requests and instructions provided by the HK Supervisor.
  3. Attend communication meetings for your section.
  4. Ensure proper stock of guest amenities, cleaning supplies, minibar items, and clean linen are arranged on the trolley before starting work.
  5. Check and note rooms with 'MAKE UP' signs.
  6. Check and note rooms with 'Do Not Disturb' signs before the end of your shift and respect these signs.
  7. Supervise the end-of-day closing of the service area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly and the area is hazard-free.
  8. Communicate all relevant information to the next shift or supervisor for smooth operations.
  9. Report exposed guest valuables to the HK Supervisor.
  10. Follow Key Hospitality Practice No. 1: Greet guests immediately, establish eye contact, and provide professional service.
  11. Follow hospitality protocol when entering and leaving guest rooms.
  12. Thoroughly clean bathrooms, walls, and bathtubs, checking for hair, and replace towels and amenities. Report maintenance issues.
  13. Remove rotten flowers, wash flower vases, and place fresh flowers.
  14. Make beds, clean bedrooms, and refill stationeries, matches, and minibar items. Remove any spots or hair from bed linens.
