Job description

How does your working day look like

• Supervise mentor and train a team of therapists to deliver exceptional spa services.
• Schedule manage and delegate work assignments for the therapy team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff and conduct training programmes.
• Ensure that all therapists are up to date with industry trends and hotel protocols.
• Deliver personalized treatments (e.g. massages facials body scrubs etc.) in accordance with the guests preferences and needs.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly ensuring a positive and memorable spa experience.
• Ensure the spas ambiance cleanliness and atmosphere reflect the luxury standards of a five-star hotel.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of spa services products and techniques.
• Perform a variety of high-end treatments ensuring guests comfort and satisfaction.
• Oversee the quality of treatments delivered by other therapists to ensure consistency in service standards.
• Maintain an ample supply of products oils towels sheets and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage/face/body work area. Preparation of kits as required/needed.
• Oversee the ordering stock levels and inventory of spa products.
• Ensure the spa uses high-quality products and that the inventory is managed effectively.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability.
• The ability to courteously interact and answer all facility related questions with members and guests.
• Work closely with the Spa Manager/Director of Rooms to improve spa offerings and performance.
• Assist in achieving the spas financial and operational goals.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives to promote the spa and its services to hotel guests.
• Lead efforts to generate positive social reviews and achieve and exceed monthly targets.
• Manage spa operations in the absence of the Spa Manager.
• Follow up on gym member renewals.
• Drive treatment upselling initiatives in the lobby cultivate strong relationships with repeat guests and ensure proactive follow-ups to enhance guest retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Youve gained management experience in a similar role and can speak English fluently
• You have3-5 years of experience in similar role of Senior Spa therapist knowledge of local market experience in hospitality.
• You can inspire your fellow staff just as you can inspire your guests. On top of this you know your way around town and always have tips for partying up your sleeve.
• You have a certified Degree in therapy education
• Youre a doer and even if you do it wrong sometimes you openly admit it.
• You have extensive knowledge of spa treatments products and techniques.
• You have strong leadership and team management skills.
• Youre not just bringing your abilities but also your character.
