Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading logistics and transportation organization in Dubai is hiring a Head of Sales, Road Transportation and Last Mile Distribution. This is a build and scale mandate. You will own the commercial strategy for road freight and last mile, win large contracts, and build a high performing sales team across the UAE and wider GCC.

Responsibilities
  • Drive GCC and UAE domestic road transportation sales across own fleet and market trucks.
  • Onboard a minimum of two large last mile or secondary distribution contracts each year.
  • Secure back loads to optimize fleet utilization and improve margins.
  • Build verticals across FMCG, retail, pharma, oil and gas, automotive, and construction.
  • Own pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial governance.
  • Build a strong pipeline with clean forecasting, reporting, and KPIs.
  • Partner with operations to structure commercially viable service models and SLAs.
  • Leadership and commercial ownership.
  • Build and lead the Road Transportation and Distribution sales team.
  • Set targets, coach performance, and close consistently.
  • Own revenue, margin, and profitability.
  • Maintain pricing discipline, credit control, and collections.
  • Manage senior client relationships and represent the business externally.
Requirements
  • 10+ years in logistics sales with strong GCC road freight and last mile exposure.
  • Proven contract acquisition track record in transportation and distribution.
  • Strong leadership, commercial judgment, and negotiation ability.
  • Exposure to FMCG, retail, pharma, or industrial sectors is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
