Job Description:

Our client, a growing business group in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Gym Manager to oversee the daily operations of their fitness facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, strong leadership capabilities, and experience in managing gym operations, memberships, and client services. This role is critical in ensuring high standards of service, member satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of daily gym operations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
  • Manage and motivate a team of fitness trainers, receptionists, and support staff to deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Monitor membership sales, renewals, and retention strategies to meet business targets.
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns, partnerships, and community outreach programs.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all equipment and facilities in line with health and safety standards.
  • Address member inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly reports on revenue, memberships, staff performance, and operational metrics.
  • Maintain inventory of fitness equipment and coordinate repair or replacement as necessary.
  • Organize group classes, personal training schedules, and wellness programs aligned with member interests.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in gym management or fitness facility operations.
  • A bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and build strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in gym management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications in fitness training, first aid, or health & safety are a plus.
  • Passionate about fitness, customer service, and creating a positive environment for clients.
