About The Role

As a Front Office Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services within Front Office areas in a friendly and courteous manner. You will perform all duties efficiently, professionally, and with the highest standards of hospitality always.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be well versed with the daily arrival and the type of arrival guests, e.g., return guest, Shangri-La Circle, VIP.
  • Register all guests with required details and ensure all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival.
  • Coordinate with the Bell desk and Concierge to assist guest with luggage upon check-in and checkout.
  • Check-in/check-out guests as per Shangri-La standards and procedures.
  • Greeting and welcoming guests as soon as they arrive at the reception.
About You
  • Have proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role in a luxury hotel or a 5* hotel environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English (and local language).
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fully understands room operations.
  • Must be detail-focused and guest-oriented.
  • Enjoy problem solving with a can-do attitude.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills, solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Takes pride in being a hotelier and enjoys interacting with people.
