We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Arabic Official Document Examiner to join our research compliance and verification team. The ideal candidate will possess native‑level fluency in both Arabic and English and have extensive, practical experience in verifying and analyzing a wide array of official Arabic documents from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with specialized expertise in official Egyptian, Syrian, Sudanese and Iraqi documentation.

This role requires a unique blend of linguistic expertise, regional knowledge, investigative skills, and a robust professional network within the MENA legal and administrative sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Examination and Verification: Conduct meticulous examination and verification of diverse official Arabic documents, including:
    • Court documents and legal decrees
    • Lawyer identification and professional licenses
    • Birth, marriage, and death certificates
    • Commercial licenses and company registration documents
    • Embassy and consular attestations
    • Educational certificates and government IDs
  • Regional Expertise: Utilize in‑depth familiarity with the specific formats, terminology, and authentication procedures of official documents across the MENA region, with a particular focus on the nuances of Egyptian and other Arab countries administrative documentation.
  • Stakeholder Liaison and Networking: Proactively leverage an existing, extensive network of contacts (lawyers, notaries, ministry officials, embassy/consulate staff) to confirm document authenticity, validity, and procedural compliance. This includes contacting government offices and regulatory bodies across the region as required.
  • Case Management & Reporting:
    • Manage a portfolio of verification cases with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to strict deadlines.
    • Draft comprehensive, high‑quality verification reports in clear and concise English, strictly following the provided company templates and protocols.
    • Maintain detailed records of communication and verification steps.
  • Advisory Role: Provide expert insights and guidance to internal teams regarding complex document types, regional legal processes, and cultural sensitivities impacting document verification.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Linguistic Proficiency: Native or near‑native fluency in written and spoken Arabic is mandatory, along with excellent command of English (written and spoken) for reporting and internal communication.
  • Document Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience handling and authenticating official Arabic documentation within a legal, governmental, compliance, or risk management context.
  • Regional Knowledge: Strong, demonstrable familiarity with administrative, legal, and governmental procedures across key MENA jurisdictions, especially Egypt.
  • Network of Contacts: A proven and extensive network of professional contacts within MENA ministries, law firms, embassies, consulates, and government agencies is highly advantageous.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong investigative instincts, and superior problem‑solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with high‑level stakeholders in Arabic and to produce clear, structured reports in English.
  • IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with case management software.
