Role and Responsibilities

As the Financial Controller for Revenues and Expenditures, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to the company's revenue and expenditure. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies and policies to ensure efficient revenue and expenditure management.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the company's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to senior management.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Managing the company's cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring.
  • Reviewing and approving financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue and expenditure transactions.
  • Providing guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring their professional development and adherence to best practices.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, auditors, and financial institutions.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role, preferably in a government agency or a company with government contracts.
  • Strong understanding of government accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
