Job summary

A leading medical technology company is seeking a Field-Based Technical Support Engineer in Dubai. The role involves troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining company products while ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates should have a strong engineering background and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are essential, while knowledge of Arabic is preferred. This position requires significant travel, up to 90%.

Qualifications

Overview

Work Flexibility: Field-based

Responsibilities
  • To troubleshoot company products and provide technical support to internal and external customers.

  • To undertake the servicing repairing and preventive maintenance. of company products to the required standards ensuring all related procedures are followed.

  • To undertake the testing of company products and provide fully completed test and service reports.

  • To perform installation setup and upgrades on company products as required.

  • To fulfill Service Contracts with planned Preventive Maintenance visits.

  • To ensure timely follow-up on all tickets / work orders.

  • To work with the appropriate support functions as well as the customers to schedule customer visits.

  • To escalate opportunities and issues through appropriate channels and stay up to date on compliance and legal aspects related to his / her job on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Engineering background (Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Preferred. Biomedical Telecommunications accepted)

  • Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) English

  • Min 1 year of relevant experience

  • Strong technical and analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Computer skills / literacy

Preferred:

  • Basic IP Networking knowledge

  • Arabic language

Travel Percentage: 90%
