Job summary

A leading medical device company in Dubai is seeking a technical support engineer to troubleshoot and service products. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. This role involves installation and maintenance of devices, ensuring compliance, and effective communication with clients. Basic knowledge of IP networking and Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Basic IP Networking knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot company products and provide technical support.
  • Servicing, repairing, and preventive maintenance of products.
  • Testing products and providing test and service reports.
  • Installation, setup, and upgrades on company products.
  • Fulfill Service Contracts with planned Preventive Maintenance visits.
  • Timely follow-up on all tickets/work orders.
  • Schedule customer visits with appropriate support functions.
  • Escalate issues and stay updated on compliance related to job.

What You Will Do
  • To troubleshoot company products and provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  • To undertake the servicing, repairing and preventive maintenance. of company products to the required standards ensuring all related procedures are followed.
  • To undertake the testing of company products and provide fully completed test and service reports.
  • To perform installation, setup and upgrades on company products as required.
  • To fulfill Service Contracts with planned Preventive Maintenance visits.
  • To ensure timely follow-up on all tickets / work orders.
  • To work with the appropriate support functions as well as the customers to schedule customer visits.
  • To escalate opportunities and issues, through appropriate channels and stay up to date on compliance and legal aspects related to his / her job on an ongoing basis.
What You Will Need

Required:

  • Engineering background (Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Preferred. Biomedical, Telecommunications, accepted)
  • Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) English
  • Min 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer skills / literacy

Preferred:

  • Basic IP Networking knowledge
  • Arabic language
