Your Role

Job description

To support our increasing demand for service and contribute to business growth and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer within the Compressor Technique Service (CTS) team.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing quality and timely service and maintenance to local industrial compressed air customers as assigned.
• Performing troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning activities.
• Applying safety and health measures at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Following site-specific rules and relevant safety regulations.
• Utilizing and maintaining specialized tools for service activities.
• Promoting Atlas Copco's values and service products to customers.
• Performing machine repairs, preventive maintenance, compressor overhauls, and system commissioning.

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements

• Proven experience in compressed air technology and applications.
• Mechanical and/or electrical experience, preferably with compressed air equipment.
• Experience in service delivery and customer interaction in the field.
• Experience with installation and application of compressors and systems.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with various compressor technologies.
• Experience with high-pressure piston compressors and boosters is a plus.
• Knowledge of compressed air dryers and electrical ladder logic is beneficial.
• Experience with competitors' equipment and oil & gas applications is advantageous.
• Experience with Variable Speed Drives and network gateways like Modbus TCP/IP and ProfiNet.

Knowledge

• Understanding of basic compressed air engineering practices.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and machine fits.
• Basic millwright skills and ability to create fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in PC use and technical report writing.
• A valid UAE driver’s license is a plus.
• Good command of English, both written and oral.

Educational requirements

• An engineering diploma in electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, or mechanical engineering.
• Or a recognized diploma in Refrigeration, Hydraulics, or Pneumatics.

• Disciplined, punctual, and reliable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel within the region, outside the UAE.
