Job description

Service Attendant is a support role that ensures the smooth operation of the restaurant by providing efficient and effective service, maintaining standards, and guaranteeing guest comfort at all times. A high level of product knowledge is necessary to confidently recommend and upsell the various products on offer.

Your day-to-day work:

  • Welcome, interact, and communicate with guests and colleagues courteously, friendly, and clearly.
  • Prepare and serve guest orders accurately while promoting and upselling all products, focusing on maximizing sales to meet outlet targets.
  • Liaise with the kitchen and bar team to ensure timely service, while ensuring guests meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
  • Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished their meals professionally.
  • Maintain stock accurately, handle point-of-sale transactions, and keep the outlet clean.
  • Follow and adhere to company Health and Safety policies and train new team members.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Ideally, your background will be in the hotel/F&B industry, with at least 1 year of experience as a Service Attendant in a 3-star or above hotel.
  • Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
