Job summary

A leading HR and employment consultancy is seeking a Maintenance Manager to develop and implement maintenance policies for the food production sector. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and over 8 years of experience, preferably in flour mills. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. This role is based in Ajman, UAE.

Maintenance Manager - FMCG

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and treatments and upgrade them as necessary.
  • Strategy, coordinate, and oversee upkeep activities for devices repair work and installation.
  • Display tools as well as spare component stock and locate orders as essential.
  • Implement normal preventative upkeep that aims to forecast and avoid tool/equipment failures prior to they happen.
  • Implement and control maintenance budget while ensuring best practices in the market.
  • Establish and apply health and wellness policies and procedures in dealing with devices and tools.
  • Maintain good relations with suppliers, contracts, and manage the execution of maintenance work.
  • Prepare and follow up daily and monthly reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in food production sectors, preferably in flour mills.
  • Ability to analyze, process, and identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and methods.
  • Solid understanding of computer applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
