Responsibilities
- Responsible for exports from multiple production bases (India, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Serbia, etc.) to international destinations.
- Manage large export sales portfolios (multi-million USD) and build distributor/stockist networks across regions.
- Develop and implement export sales strategies; establish and maintain relationships with FMCG buyers.
- Lead business development in exports from India to other countries, expanding the network of distributors and stockists, primarily in South Asia and Europe.
- Travel internationally as required to export markets.
- Oversee international trade laws, EXIM policies, documentation and compliance.
- Budgeting, financials and value chain modeling; manage market spendings (trade activations) and ROI.
- Engage with GM and director-level stakeholders and work with multi-national teams across countries.
- Lead market expansions, NPDs, new product launches, JBP, and distribution KPIs; manage channel performance.
- Provide leadership, negotiation, pricing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Min 8–10 years of recent experience in private label within the food manufacturing industry; FMCG experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in exports from multiple bases to international destinations; top-line responsibility of not less than $5M in current role.
- Strong knowledge of international trade laws, EXIM policies, documentation and compliance.
- Proven track record in managing large export portfolios and distributor networks across regions; willingness for international travel.
- Minimum 15 years in B2B sales and order cycles; minimum 12 years in sales forecast accuracy and managing distributors across Asia or/and Africa.
- Solid experience in budgeting, financials, value chain models and reporting; proficiency in MS and reporting systems.
- Experience dealing with GM and director-level executives; ability to work with multi-national teams and diverse cultures.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, pricing strategy, and business development skills.
