IT People Gulf is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architecture strategy, governance, and solution alignment for large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role is crucial in shaping enterprise-wide architecture standards and ensuring seamless integration across diverse technology ecosystems.

Detailed Job Description

As an Enterprise Architect, you will define the organization’s architecture roadmap, guide major transformation programs, and ensure alignment between business goals and IT capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, solution architects, and stakeholders to implement scalable, secure, and future‑ready technology architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud computing, microservices, enterprise integrations, and eGovernment programs. You will leverage industry‑standard frameworks such as TOGAF and tools like ArchiMate or Sparx EA to produce high‑quality models and governance artifacts. Strong communication and influence skills are essential for driving architectural decisions across business and technical domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and roadmaps
• Support large‑scale digital transformation and eGovernment initiatives
• Design and guide architecture for cloud, microservices, containerization, and API‑driven environments
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives
• Lead architecture assessments, gap analyses, and solution recommendations
• Establish governance frameworks for application, integration, data, and security domains
• Prepare architectural models using ArchiMate, Sparx EA, Visio, or similar tools
• Provide expert guidance on IAM, API gateways, ESBs, and enterprise platforms
• Present architecture strategies and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
• 8–10 years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in enterprise architecture roles
• Deep understanding of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
• Strong background in microservices, cloud computing, Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with enterprise platforms, ESBs, API gateways, and IAM solutions
• Proficiency in enterprise modeling tools (ArchiMate, Sparx EA, Visio)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities
• Preference for Arabic-speaking candidates already based in the UAE

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Certification in TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Architect
• Experience working on large eGovernment or national digital transformation programs
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and DevSecOps practices
• Understanding of data architecture, governance, and security frameworks
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and lead architecture governance boards
