Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Mason to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As an Engineering Mason you will play a crucial role in executing complex masonry work on large-scale construction projects ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Interpret and work from blueprints drawings and specifications to construct masonry structures
• Select cut and shape various materials including brick concrete blocks and natural stone
• Mix and apply mortar grout and other bonding materials
• Ensure proper alignment level and plumb of masonry work
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and workflows
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean organized work environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve masonry-related issues on-site
• Mentor and guide junior masons and apprentices
• Stay updated on local building codes and sustainable construction practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry or a related field preferred
