Qualifications

• Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including history-taking and physical examinations.
• Perform medical procedures such as suturing, splinting, and intubation.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with emergency physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
